NADIA SHANAE

Oh hello, My name is Nadia Shanae!

I’m originally from Chicago Illinois, but I was raised in St. Louis, Missouri. I’ve been dancing for as long as I can remember, with my love of theater following soon after. I spent my summers performing at The Muny and my school years training in concert dance, and later, vocal performance at COCA, where I developed a strong foundation in concert dance and performance.

Some roles I’ve enjoyed include Lorrell in Dreamgirls, Pilar in Legally Blonde, and Odette in The House That Will Not Stand. As a second-generation Caribbean immigrant, Timoune in Once on This Island takes the cake for my favorite role I’ve ever played!

Outside of the theater, you can find me on a hike, in a Pilates class, scrolling Pinterest, or at the nearest movie theater.
