Hi, I'm Kevyn Roessler!

I grew up about 30 minutes from Detroit and found a love of music and performing very early on. When I was eight, I became a member of the Detroit Opera Youth Chorus, where I received training in classical techniques, music theory, and how to be a hard-working professional performer. Since I've been at WMU, I've become immersed in the wonderful world of straight plays and have found out how much I enjoy dancing. It's been truly life-changing to find out how much every facet of this business intrigues and inspires me.

Offstage, I love all things fantasy and sci-fi. Traveling to distant worlds and seeing the creativity of those stories has always been such a delight. There's rarely a moment where I'm not in the process of reading a book, watching a show, or playing a video game (and I'm usually doing a little bit of all three). I've also become a big Detroit sports fan. I've been watching the Tigers for years, but more recently, I've started to really enjoy watching the Lions, Pistons, and Red Wings. I can't wait to see where the next stage of my life takes me, and I hope you'll be along for the ride!
